again.” every now and then. This is the result that we get in the form
of a pop up window while trying to remove an external media, like a pen drive
or a hard disk, from the port of a computer by clicking the safely remove hardware button. But is this

error is SFC/SCANNOW , although there are other options
that can be used with SCF(System
File Checker).
SCF is a utility in windows that can help you to identify and
treat corrupted files in your system.
ROOTING - ACCESS GRANTED
For things
to make sense, you first need to grab the concept of a few things (or you can
simply jump to the “rooting – an insight” section of this page):
Android: An android is an operating
system that has been designed for smartphones by the search engine giant Google. It has been derived from
the Linux kernel and is designed primarily for the touchscreen based platforms.
You can think of it like the windows 8 operating system, but with smaller and

system. The android application can be considered similar to the applications
that we use in daily life on our laptops or PCs like MS Word. These
applications are designed for the devices that are powered by the android
operating system.
Rooting (android rooting) in simple terms is “the process that allows the users of a device to get full control of that device, at the root level, so that they can make changes to their system that were previously restricted by their manufacturers due to issues concerning security etc”.
Rooting your
android is like getting the administrative access just like you have in your
laptops or PCs. As the name suggests, with rooting you can get root level access
and can make changes at root level where you can remove default software
programs, and add files and applications that were restricted earlier.
It is like removing all the firewalls and
blocking protocols from your system so that you can customize the components
the way you desire. And since the android OS is derived from the linux kernel,
if you are a linux user it will be easy for you to understand and make changes
in the android.
STILL CONFUSED?
To have a
little more understanding of the purpose for rooting consider an example where
I have a built-in application called Bollywood
Hungama. Now I can’t
uninstall this application because it is a built-in application, i.e, it’s an
application that was provided by the manufacturers and it cannot be uninstalled
because I am not allowed to do that due to some restrictions that were set by
the manufacturers. Although I never use it, it still occupies memory in my
phone as well as increases energy consumption.
The solution
– rooting. With rooting I
have the power to remove this application, and not just this I can make many
other changes, remove software related file and features that I don’t like or
just want to remove.
Not just
that, I can even change the whole Android OS, just the way you do in your
laptops or PCs. But like everything else this is also blessed with some pros
and cursed with some cons.

One of the
advantages of rooting is that you can customize it in the way you want it to,
you can add custom applications and software, remove restricted applications
and software.

SPEED AND BATTERY LIFE
The main
problems in a smartphone are that of battery life and processing power (or
speed of the device) and with rooting these problems can be solved by using
certain customized ROM’s and applications. These can help in improving the
abilities of your device to a new level.
MORE POWER
Once rooted
you can simply add new applications that were earlier restricted to you. You
can simply update their OS to the current version, add new ROM and applications
that can boost your device.

VOID
This will be
the status of your warranty once you root your device. Once a device is rooted,
the manufacturing organization has nothing to do with it. They even terminate
your warranty, because after rooting you are responsible for the damage of your
device. So think twice.
WTF
This reason
is of primary importance of why you should not root. The term is “bricking”.
Just like any other process there is a fair chance that you might screw up
while rooting your device. Although you can unroot your device afterwards, but
if you screw up so badly that your phone is damaged beyond repair, all you will
be left with is a brick, also according to the earlier point “VOID” you won’t
be able to replace it.
MALWARE
Since now
your phone has the ability to install applications that were previously restricted,
you can install all the awesome applications. But these restrictions were also
applicable on malwares and since there will be no restrictions you might just
install some malware and harm your device. So be careful about that.
